USA - Clearing Northern Lithuania - 04 Jan to 29 Jan 1946

04 Jan 1946: The US Marine Corps and 8th Army have been ordered to Thessaloniki port.
06-07 Jan 1946: Our attack in northern Lithuania begins.
09 Jan 1946: I order Patton's Armoured Divisions to expedite things.
10 Jan 1946: We start a 2nd attack further to the East.
14 Jan 1946: Excellent progress is being made. To the North is neutral Latvia.
17 Jan 1946: As you can see the defenders are in fortresses.
19 Jan 1946: The last position is being stormed.
20 Jan 1946: What a mix of defending divisions!
24 Jan 1946: Mission accomplished. The town Panevezys is the next objective for 1st Armoured Army.
26 Jan 1946: Research has been completed on Excavation III....
....and I select Excavation V next.
My current Research projects.
I order our 8 Armoured Divisions to Ukmergè.
In the South China Sea we sank 9 Japanese Destroyers without any losses of our own.
Then we lost 3 Merchants to Submarines.
I didn't know that Norway had such a large fleet. Maybe they were captured ships.
Lockheed has acquired the Trait High-Frequency Direction Finding.
We sign the pact.
The Diplomacy Register of the Russian Federation. They don't like us at all so I decide to improve relations with them.
The assault on Panevezys is in full swing. Kaunus is next.
27 Jan 1946: I add 1st Armoured Division to the party.
29 Jan 1946: The calm before the storm at Kaunus. Also our Armour production.
We are producing about 7.7 tanks per day and increasing.
