Russia - Preparations For War (II) - 09 Aug to 02 Sep 1942

09 Aug 1942: I assign 3 Mechanized Divisions, which sre still in the Far East, to 2nd Army.
13 Aug 1942: Some good news!
17 Aug 1942: The remaining 15 Rifle Divisions are now all in Venizia so I order them shipped to Beirut.
These Mexicans are greedy.
18 Aug 1942: It's probably my shipping order that caused this. I'll try to get more Rubber from India.
19 Aug 1942: Now that's a blessing. We have finished researching Advanced Rubber Processing....
....and I select Modern Rubber Processing next.
My current Research projects. The 76.2 mm Anti-Tank Gun is due soon.
There are too many to be assigned to 2nd Army (max. 24 divisions to an Army)....
....so I assign only 11 Rifle Divisions.
I also reassign the 3 Mechanized Divisions to Army Levant.
21 Aug 1942: I try to import Rubber from Uganda.
23 Aug 1942: I also assign the Soviet Far East Fleet to the Aegean Sea. (That should have been the Black Sea Fleet.)
24 Aug 1942: The Mexicans again.
I order the Soviet TF 5 to patrol the Aegean Sea and we already have Naval Superiority.
31 Aug 1942: I assign 20 Military Factories to LaGG-3 production....
....and create 2 new Air Wings in Lebanon.
Pilot Exercises are ordered.
02 Sep 1942: The 76.2 mm ZiS-3 Anti-Tank Gun has completed Research....
....and I select the M1943 152 mm Improved Medium Cannon next.
I place the new Anti-Tank Gun into production. 1935 old guns have to be replaced.
We now have two Armies in the Levant, 2 Armies in Turkey plus 2 Armies (1 Bulgarian) at the gates of Istanbul on the Bosphorus Straits. We are near to joining the war. I forgot to mention those 4 Rifle Divisions from Army Levant were diverted to the Dodecanese Islands.
