01 Mar 1944: I need a Minesweeper and instead of building new ones I shall convert Clemson Class Destroyers.
I need a better Engine and a QGA Sonar.
I upgrade the Fire Control and both Torpedo Launchers.
Then I upgrade the Anti-Air and Light Battery....
....then finally I replace the Depth Charge Rails with Minesweeping Gear.
I present the Clemson Minesweeper.
I select 8 Destroyers from Scouting Force. Its MIO is Norfolk Naval Yard.
05 Mar 1944: They appear on Screening Ships production and require 36 days refitting with 5 Dockyards assigned.
Brooklyn Naval Yard receives the Trait
External Armour Belt.
I add 3 x 2 Dockyards to the Construction queue.
I deploy the 18th and 21st Airborne Divisions early and place them in training.
12 Mar 1944: The United Socialist Front has defeated two more nations.
The situation in SW Europe.
The Diplomacy Register of the Latvian Republic which is in the United Socialist Front....
....and Poland - a member of the French Alliance. Vellow is neutral.
Europe seen theough British eyes. Blue is allied and red is enemy.

Great Britain may have an uphill battle.
