USA - Early War Preparations and Germany - 15 Feb to 13 Mar 1943
15 Feb 1943: I want to move 2nd Army to San Jose but it is in 3 different locations. Move 1....
....and Move 2+3 from 2 ports in Canada..My non-Armour Army production. My only deficit is Anti-Tank Guns. We still have old Infantry Equipment and Anti-Air Guns being upgraded.
16 Feb 1943: I plot 1st Armoured Army's operation in Columbia. Is that blue area getting larger?
I start assigning Air Groups to 1st Armoured Army. The aircraft will automatically move to a nearby Airfield. Here 3rd Fighter Group....
....and now the 2nd Medium Bombardment Group.
Two more Groups.
18 Feb 1943: Next the 3rd Light Bombardment Group.
20 Feb 1943: I assign more Ground Crews to gain an efficiency boost.
I also assign the 5th Fighter Group.
Two trained Divisions are returned to 1st Armoured Army.
24 Feb 1943: So Argentina is gate-crashing our party and they are allied with Great Britain. I don't want to upset King Edward VIII so I need a Plan B.
So we are good trading partners.
25 Feb 1943: They always do.
01 Mar 1943: What on earth has happened to Germany. I guess that being at war with Finland, which is a member of the French Alliance, finally caught up with them.
It should all be over by the end of July.
01-02 Mar 1943: I deploy the 6th Armoured Division early and place it in training.
12 Mar 1943: I am still short of Anti-Tank Guns.
13 Mar 1943: The trained Aircraft Carrier USS Hornet is assigned to Carrier Division, Battle Force....
....while the Destroyer USS Curlew is assigned to Destroyer Squadron 12.
Two Submarines are assigned to the 4th Submarine Squadron at Hawaii.
Two Heavy Cruisers are assigned from Carrier Division to Cruisers, Battle Force.
It looks like I'll have to abandon my plans for Columbia.
