30 Jun 1941: Patton's 5th Army is ordered to Guam.
02 Jul 1941: Research has been completed on Landing Craft and I attack a Japanese position with 4 divisions.
04 Jul 1941: Even with a 5th division it could still take 23 days.
I decide to research
Advanced Ship Torpedo Launcher next.
06 Jul 1941: It has now dropped to 6 days which is more acceptable.
11 Jul 1941: A more detailed view of the attack.
13 Jul 1941: Now it's 4 days.
14 Jul 1941: One of our Battleships from the Pacific Strike Fleet is nearby.
20 Jul 1941: We have captured the enemy position but they are now threatening our left flank. Also we have decrypted Japan's cipher....
....and I activate the active decryption bonuses.
I spend 150 PP to gain Henry Stimson as a Political Advisor.
24 Jul 1941: The Japanese lose 7 Torpedo Bombers while attacking my 6 Battleships.
Three are damaged and order them to port for repairs.
26 Jul 1941: My left flank is holding but I send the 24th Infantry Division to help.
30 Jul 1941: I attack the next Japanese position and move to capture the Japanese held airfield to the south of it.
01 Aug 1941: Research has been completed on
40 mm M1 Anti-Air gun....
....and I select the
Improved Anti-Air Upgrade I next.
I need to bring reinforcements to Papua but they will have to run the gauntlet of enemy Submarines.
