Turkey - From Luzon to Mindanao - 20 Oct 1925 to 11 Jan 1926

20 Oct 1925: The first 4 divisions of reinforcements have arrived and I commence with an attack to the southeast in order to support the second amphibious assault.
22 Oct 1925: Six more divisions arrived plus divisions from Germany and the Qing Dynasty. We are almost at the intended beachhead.
25 Oct 1925: The beachhead with Airfield has been secured and we are advancing on Manila - and NO, we don't want an Georgian Socialist Republic.
Manila is about to fall.
27 Oct 1925: I've had to divert a division to pin down the 2 US divisions at Batangas.
29 Oct 1925: Manila has finally fallen and we are now advancing on Batangas.
05-08 Nov 1925: Batangas has been captured and the advance south and east continues.
11 Nov 1925: More progress heading southeast and the Focus Naval Bombing Effort has completed.
15 Nov 1925: I select Capital Ship Effort as the next Focus.
19 Nov 1925: Our two main avenues of attack have stalled so I plan two amphibious assaults to outflank the US defences. We have naval superiority so we can afford this luxury. As a reminder, amphibious assaults require 7 days per division involved in the attack.
28 Nov 1925: The two assaults have been activated.
03 Dec 1925: Both landings were successful and we are advancing in the enemy's rear.
09 Dec 1925: Attrition is working against US forces which are cut off without supply. The defences on the island south of Batangas are about to be overwhelmed.
11 Dec 1925: Calapan has fallen and the remaining 3 US divisions have nowhere to retreat to.
18 Dec 1925: Two more amphibious assaults have been initiated to outflank the enemy.
21 Dec 1925: Meanwhile nearer home new Artillery Brigades need my attention. Five fully-trained brigades are assigned to 1st Reserve Army at Kuwait while five new brigades are placed in training.
22 Dec 1925: Also Iberia has finally been cleared of enemy divisions.
24 Dec 1925: I plan an amphibious assault to liberate French Guyana from its US occupiers.
29 Dec 1925: The road to Mindanao is blocked so another amphibious assault is planned.
07 Jan 1926: The assault begins and....
....on 11 Jan 1926 the last US division blocking our advance on Mindanao has been surrounded.
The final phase of the capture of The Philippines can now begin. More in the next post.
