Allies - A Busy Royal Navy and Tobruk Falls - 08 Oct to 19 Oct 1938

08 Oct 1938: We finally have Naval Superiority in the Eastern Mediterranean so our amphibious assault on Rhodes begins.
We lost the Battle of Nicosia but the Italians did have a superior force.
The French are advancing on Milan and the naval base at La Spezia.
09 Oct 1938: The Greeks lost a merchant ship near Cyprus.
In East Africa the Italian division in Harar has been pushed back. Our plan is to encircle the enemy divisions at Djibouti and capture Addis Ababa further west.
10 Oct 1938: We just received 4 Military Factories.
Look at the casualties!
The second Battle of Nicosia....
....and the Italians only lost a Submarine while withdrawing.
12 Oct 1938: The Focus Mediterranean Bastion has completed....
....and I believe it would be appropriate to select Fortify Malta next.
13 Oct 1938: Great! We have captured Tobruk so Benghazi is our next goal. Also the technology Fuel Refining II has been researched. Good timing!
I select the QF 25-pounder Gun next.
A list of my Research projects.
A minor victory for the Royal Navy.
14 Oct 1938: Our encirclement is progressing well and we are advancing on Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa.
I redirect 2nd Army's convoy to Tobruk.
Just before midnight the Italian pocket near Tobruk has been neutralized and the bulk of Army Libya is now storming westwards.
A 3rd Battle of Nicosia is in progress albeit much smaller.
19 Oct 1938: We accept a Lend Lease from New Zealand. We can use the Artillery.
We lost an aircraft operating from Malta.
On land we are making great progress but the Royal Navy is having a few problems.
