Germany - Panzers on the Road Again - 16 Aug to 13 Sep 1941

16 Aug 1941: We don't accept demands from Minor Nations. Rejected!

Rommel's 1. Panzerarmee has made deep penetrations in the east.

17 Aug 1941: Japan again. But back to Turkey my Panzers are rolling. One division has just passed through Istanbul with 2 more following. Armee Krim with 5 Panzer-Divisionen has just performed an amphibious assault on the northern coast and one column will head towards Ankara. One of Rommel's Panzer-Divisionen has just captured the port Trabzon in the northeast.

19 Aug 1941: European Turkey is now fully under our control and Ankara has been captured.

Turkey is already 65% towards capitulation with 107K casualties.

20 Aug 1941: Yunnan Free Empire? In Ankara the 11. Panzer-Division attacks the Turkish division east of it while the 9. Panzer will head south to the coast capturing cities (and VP's) along the way.

21 Aug 1941: Now Manchukuo. Our spearheads are racing ahead at breakneck speed. We will soon link up with Rommel's forward elements,

22 Aug 1941: Our assault from the Dodecanese Islands is getting nowhere.

On the Caucasus Front the Turkish army has disintegrated with our armoured column advancing in all directions..

We are receiving Lend Lease from other nations in the Axis.

23 Aug 1941: The assault from Rhodos is finally making progress.

24 Aug 1941: Improved Decimetric Radar has finally been researched

I choose Centimetric Radar next.

25 Aug 1941: We finally sunk a Turkish submarine near to Crete.

26 Aug 1941: Turkey capitulates and we capture lots of equipment including 3,700 Sten guns!

We now need French permission to advance further.

Which we receive.

30 Aug 1941: Now we ask the British for a non-aggression pact.... 

....and that is accepted too.

04 Sep 1941: Rommel's 1. Panzerarmee is now heading for the Iranian border.

Now that is a surprise but a welcome one. Some of Rommel's Panzers can head south to Baghdad then Basra. It should be over in a week.

10 Sep 1941: We have finally researched Depth Charge Thrower so we choose Depth Charge Mortar next.

I need rubber again so I import it from British Malaya this time.

13 Sep 1941: Iraq has capitulated within a week and this time we receive beaucoup artillery.
