Allies - The Home Front and the Russian Front - 08 May to 18 May 1941

08 May 1941: The newly deployed 37th Infantry Division is placed in Army Training....
....while the 7th Canadian Infantry Division is assigned to Army Malaya....
....and 7th Armoured Division is placed in the Royal Armoured Corps.
The RAC's 28th Infantry Division requires more training.
I decide to start recruiting a second Armoured division.
Our attacks into the Polish People's Republic are proceeding well.
Enemy forces in northern Romania appear to be contained.
09 May 1941: Sheparding divisions from Montgomery's 2nd Army Group.
11 May 1941: I have more Fuel reserves now because I had previously halted my Armoured and Motorized divisions. Now they can contribute again to the mopping up operation in North Romania.
The next objectives are Odessa and Chisnàu, the Moldavian capital.
13 May 1941: Fourth Army is now entering Byelorussia.
Fuel is critically low again....
....and I assign my final Ark Royal Class aircraft carrier, HMS Formidable, to the Mediterranean Fleet.
My Western Mediterranean Force is dealing with that Italian Submarine Flotilla....
....but the Reserve Fleet patrolling in the Central Mediterranean is ordered back to port. That is a large fleet and is consuming a lot of Fuel.
14 May 1941: That's less than earlier. Good.
The deficits of Infantry Equipment, Artillery and Crusader tanks are hurting.
Communist Poland is being torn apart....
....while we have a mixed bag in Romania. Odessa should fall in a matter of days though.
16 May 1941: Army Gibraltar's operations. We have captured the Moldavian capital. Great work, guys.
17 May 1941: Welcome to England, Lieutenant Hu. Enjoy your stay.
The Resistance levels in Italy don't look good but I am not overly worried about it.
Our ASW operation in the Western Mediterranean is keeping the remaining 6 Italian Submarines busy.
18 May 1941: All's well on the Polish Front. Is Lwów the new Moldavian capital? If so then not for long.
We appear to have the upper hand on the Eastern Front but equipment shortages and low Fuel reserves are a constant worry.
