Germany - Ancona Has Finally Fallen - 03 Jan to 26 Jan 1941

03 Jan 1941: The second batch of 8 Sicherungs-Divisionen has been deployed and placed in training.
Two trained Infanterie-Divisionen are assigned to Armee Krüger and ordered to Venezia.
05 Jan 1941: I continue the attack on Pola with 16 divisions.
The newly-deployed 335. Infanterie-Division is placed in training.
That Italian Submarine commander is back and we have lost 8 Merchants.
09 Jan 1941: I activate the second amphibious assault on Ancona.
17 Jan 1941: Research has been completed on Improved Infantry Equipment II....
....and I select Paratroopers II next.
My current Research projects.
17 Jan 1941: The Italians have lost 2 Heavy Cruisers....
....and a Battleship.
Focke Wulf receives the Trait Light Airframe....
....while Mauser receives Medium Machine Guns Production.
The new 106. Infanterie-Division is placed in training.
The trained 1. and 2. Fallschirmjäger-Divisionen are assigned to Panzerarmee Manstein....
19 Jan 1941: Ancona has finally been captured and I order General Guderian to ship his 18. Panzer-Division as well as the 162. Infanterie-Division.
19 Jan 1941: The 320. Infanterie-Division has been deployed and placed in training....
....while the 332. Infanterie-Division is assigned to Armee Krüger.
20 Jan 1941: We need to reconnect the two fronts but that should soon be alleviated.
22 Jan 1941: Done! Next we need to expand the bridgehead.
25 Jan 1941: The 'green' 95 attack is what I'm looking for.
I also order two divisions south to help out.
Slowly we are beginning to make progress. The longer frontline is a problem for the Italians but the terrain favours the defence.
