Germany - The Demise of the Third Reich - 19 May to 20 Jun 1937

19 May 1937: The encirclement has been broken but their fate has already been decided. We are on the offensive everywhere.
23 May 1937: The push through Weimar to Erfurt looks promising.
24 May 1937: We have completed Research on Basic Medium Tank Chassis....
....and I select Armour-Piercing Capped Medium Shell next.
My current Research.
25 May 1937: I now want to encircle the 5 divisions west of Magdeburg.
28 May 1937: We are at the gates of Dresden, Leipzig and Erfurt.
30 May 1937: We have captured Leipzig and Dresden is about to fall.
31 May 1937: We have caputured Dresden, Sachsen has been liberated....
....and Nazi Germany is now 89% towards capitulation.
I appoint Werner von Fritsch to the Oberkommano der Wehrmacht (OKW).
01 Jun 1937: 2nd Army continues its drive south.
02 Jun 1937: Many Nazi divisions along the Czechoslovakian border are in a precarious position.
03 Jun 1937: Four divisions have been enclrcled and nine more may soon suffer the same fate.
08 Jun 1937: The end is near.
I order an all-out offensive to capture Nuremberg.
14 Jun 1937: Three more enemy divisions have been encircled.
15 Jun 1937: Two pockets near Weimar have been destroyed and our spearheads are nearing Nuremberg.
16 Jun 1937: Only one division between us and Nuremberg. I also launch a thrust towards Regensburg just in case we need that city.
19 Jun 1937: We have liberated Franken and captured Nuremberg.
The Nazi Dictatorship has been defeated but at a considerable price,
Much of Germany is in ruins and it will take a long while to recover.
