I plan Fuel Silos and upgrade Air Bases on ny southern border in case there is a conflict with Italy. My acquisition of Slovenia has made it difficult for Italy to attack Yugoslavia.
15 May 1938: Two new Panzer-Divisionen are placed in training.
17 May 1938: Progress but slow progress.
18 May 1938: Hopefully 1. Panzerarmee can make a change.
I order the Armee to Salamanca.
29 May 1938: I change the attack again. Let's try to capture Madrid from the southeast.

01 Jul 1938: There are now 2 enemy divisions blocking 1. Panzerarmee so I decide to attack from the north.
07 Jul 1938: A selection of my Army production. Yellow = deficit.
11 Jul 1938: The attack from the north looks more promising.
12 Jul 1938: Breakthrough! Only 1 division between Madrid and 1. Panzerarmee.
24 Jul 1938: Guderian's troops are now at the gates of Madrid.
26 Jul 1938: Southeast of Madrid we now have more Spanish support.
30 Jul 1938: We just have to maintain the pressure,
05 Aug 1938: Madrid has received a 2nd division but we are gaining momentum in the southeast.
