Germany - The Final Push in Russia (I) - 20 Oct to 06 Nov 1940

20 Oct 1940: The situation near Leningrad needs to be secured before moving on.
24 Oct 1940_ Three armies appear to now have everything under control.
The War Summary with Russia now at 89%.
Five divisions from Armee Mitte are order to capture a Soviet city near the Urals.
26 Oct 1940: The Soviets are now down to 72 divisions compared to our 285 divisions.
I finally decide to evaluate the Italian Intel.
I send my U-Boots operating in the Upper Baltic Sea back home to port.
I unassign 6th Army from 1st Army Group.
Then I split Guderian's Armee Nord.
27 Oct 1940: Thus creating a new Army. Unfortunately Ritter von Leeb has been wounded. Get well soon.
The two armies are ordered to capture Murmansk and Archangelsk in the north.
The rest of 1st Army Group is ordered eastwards to the Urals and beyond.
We are also advancing into the Russian south.
Russia is still at 89% (no new cities have been captured) but they have 40K more casualties.
01 Nov 1940: The advance of General Dietrich's Armee Nordost which is southeast of Leningrad.
03 Nov 1940: The Operation Plans of Army Group Romania south of the Urals.
The Armies Ost and Mitte advancing at the southern tip of the Urals. There are forces in our rear which need to be dealt with.
04 Nov 1940: Four of Guderian's divisions are order to capture Murmansk.
06 Nov 1940: Turkey has capitulated and we receive a massive amount of their equipment. More important however is the 1940 Heavy Shjp Hull which has completed development.
I select the All-or-Nothing Armour Scheme next.
The war should be over before any of these projects are completed. In the north Tikhvin has been taken.
What's left is a wild rush to the east to capture cities and airfields before the Russian winter arrives.
