03 Sep 1938: I spoke too early. The enemy counterattacks are hindering our advance.
04 Sep 1938: Research has been completed on
Special Forces.

1940 Destroyer Hull next. A more powerful engine is also part of the deal.
07 Sep 1938: The Focus
Tactical Air Effort has been completed. The assault on Madrid is again looking good.

Madrid has finally fallen but the battle is far from over.

10 Sep 1938: Now that is interesting. Maybe I should consider absorbing Czechoslovakia in the near future.
13 Sep 1938: I launch an attack towards Toledo. Hopefully it will relieve the pressure on Madrid.
17 Sep 1938: I'm now attacking with 6 of my divisions. Toledo or bust!
18 Sep 1938: At home I plan the construction of 9 MF's and 4 Dockyards.
23 Sep 1938: Research has been completed on

25 Sep 1938: Green 96 against Toledo is excellent and 3. Panzer-Division on my left flank appears to have defeated s Spanish opponent too.
28 Sep 1938: A double breach in the enemy frontline but they are counterattacking hard.
30 Sep 1938: That is indeed unfortunate.
09 Oct 1938: Guderian's Panzers have penetrated deep into enemy territory.
11 Oct 1938: Let's try to encircle those divisions northwest of Madrid.
21 Oct 1938: Almost there. Madrid is now safe.
28 Oct 1938: Of course we support Bulgarian claims. I don't want to get involved in that Balkan mess though.
31 Oct 1938: I create 1. Armeegruppe under the command of Field Marshall von Kluge.
01 Nov 1938: It's time to plan a new offensive to hopefully finish off the Republicans.
03 Nov 1938: Time to visit the coast and capture Valencia first.
Republican Spain must be nearing capitulation so I need to capture a few cities along the coast.
