07 Aug 1938: The Royal Armoured Corps is assigned to 1st Army Group.

13 Aug 1938: Ten trained Submarines are assigned to the 5th Submarine Flotilla.
14 Aug 1938: The 5th Submarine Flotilla with 30 Submarines is too large so I split in two creating the 6th Submarine Flotilla.
16 Aug 1938: I order the new Flotilla to Gibraltar to become part of Mediterranean Command.
22 Aug 1938: The 11th (East Africa) Infantry Division has been deployed and is placed in training.
The trained 46th (North Midlands) Infantry Division is assigned to the 1st BEF.
The Roal Tank Regiment is transferred from the 1st BEF to the Royal Armoured Corps.
02 Sep 1938: Enough said!
I order all Brigades of the Royal Armoured Corps to Metz.

06 Sep 1938: Wow! Czechoslovakia has rejected the demand from Germany to give up Sudetenland.
This changes things enormously. Are we ready for war? Possibly with Italy too? The alternative is to let Germany conquer Czechoslovakia.
