France - Conquest Of Sardinia Completed - 04 May to 31 May 1939

04 May 1939: I add more pressure on the 6 Italian divisions with an attack on their southern flank.
06 May 1939: That's much better. I now have 8 days to plan something else.
08 May 1939: Cagliari should fall in 4 days.
10 May 1939: We have reaserched Hotchkiss M1914 & Brandt Mle 1935....
....and I select Fuel Refining II next.
11 May 1940: My current Research and 2 are Oil related. I want to lessen my dependence on Allied Oil.
My plans in Libya. Breakthrugh there is imminent.
13 May 1939: Despite the sandstorm the road to Benghasi is now wide open. I redirct 2 divisions to the 2nd Airfield.
14 May 1939: I order 4 Mountain Divisions to be shipped to Bizerte hoping that the Royal Navy is keeping the Italians busy.
16 May 1939: I assign them to Army Tunisia then order them to Tobruk.
18 May 1939:  Our forces have advanced are now aiming at Milano again.
I add another 5 divisions from Army Maginot but their objective is Lugano.
20 May 1939: I add 3 more divisions from Army Home to increase the pressure.
23 May  1939: I reinforce the attack with 4th Armoured Brigade.
24 May 1939: Another two days and hopefully we have encircled those 5 divisions on the Swiss border.
25 May 1939: We won that battle now let's try and maintain the momentum.
I order most of Army Maginot to Lugano. Italy appears to have no units east of the city.
28 May 1939: We have almost captured Lugano and now the 5 divisions have no chance of escape. They are also under attack in order to deplete their supplies.
I also order two divisions to capture the airfield east of Lugano.
30 May 1939: The 5 Italian divisions are now truly doomed. I order 2nd Infantry Division to advance beyond the airfield.
31 May 1939: Lugano has fallen and I order 3 divisions to probe towards Brescia and Verona.
I add 4th Light Mechanized Division to attack Brescia but then advance south towards Parma.
I hope the Italian northern flank is about to crumble so we can reach the Adriatic Sea and block Italian League forces fron interfering in North Italy.
