Germany - Spanish Civil War - 20 Apr to 28 Jul 1938

20 Apr 1938: On the offensive again - The goal is to cut-off the Republican Spanish forces around Pamplona.
Breakthrough is imminent north of the river.
21 Apr 1938: We have captured Huesca but another Spanish division is blocking a further advance.
28 Apr 1938: We've linked up with the Aragon anarchists - also an enemy - but ca. 9 enemy divisions have been surrounded.
03 May 1938: 1. Panzer-Division joins in the attack.
09 May 1938: Three days to go.
14 May 1938: Three divisions are now attacking north with moderate success.
19 May 1938: The Spanish are defending stubbornly.
22 May 1938: I order 3. Panzer-Division to help out.
29 May 1938: The battle was won before the Panzer Division arrived. Oh well..
04 Jun 1938: Now the assault on Pamplona. We enjoy air-superiority here.
13 Jun 1938: Pamplona has fallen.
All divisions north of the river are ordered to Huesca.
I'm increasing aircraft production - doubling it in fact.
19 Jun 1938: After re-grouping 1. Panzerarmee launches a thrust through to the Mediterranean coast.
22 Jun 1938: Three days later we have advanced halfway there.
27 Jun 1938: The three Panzer-Divisionen  have only 1 Spanish Division between them and the coast. I send 10. and 22. Infanterie-Divisionen north to eliminate a couple of Spanish divisions in our rear.
06 Jul 1938: Almost there. Afterwards we shall rid Spain of the Aragon anarchist rabble.
11 Jul 1938: The Panzerkorps attacks northwards to capture an airfield and then threaten Barcelona from the west.
14 Jul 1938: 16. Infanterie-Division helps overcome the last resistance.
19 Jul 1938: The assault on Barcelona begins.
24 Jul 1938: We are making excellent progress.
28 Jul 1938: Victory! We can concentrate on Republican Spain now.
