14 Dec 1940: I moved the 205: Sturm-Division to Kuopio to help blunt the Soviet attack.
17 Dec 1940: I launch an attack to stop the Soviets capturing the port of Kokkola.
19 Dec 1940: It's looking very good.
22 Dec 1940: Kokkola and Kuopio are safe. I move the 18. Panzer-Division back to the front.
25 Dec 1940: The 15. Panzer-Division is defending the line against 5 Soviet Divisions!
I remind the Dutch again.
27 Dec 1940: The Abwehr mission is progressing well and there's a change in Romania. Good luck in Mexico.
27 Dec 1940: The border is looking good.
What a wimp! There are two German Armeen defending Romania!
28 Dec 1941: Your number is up, Joe!
31 Dec 1940: The 97. Sturm-Division has been deployed and is placed in training.
I deploy the remaining Sturm-Divisionen early as well as the 935. Infanterie-Division (mot.) and all are sent to the Armeeschule.
Four Panzer-Divisionen have also been deployed and placed in training.
I convert all 4 Divisionen to the 1940 standard.
The End-of-Year Global Summary is as expected. The Soviet Union has dropped to 4th place though.
01 Jan 1941: I unlock the Army Doctrine
Armoured Spearhead and it's free!
So I unlock the Army Doctrine
Schwerpunkt (Focal Point).
I also unlock
Blitzkrieg. That should help my Heer.
Next I unlock the Navy Doctrine
Convoy Interdiction.....
....as well as the Special Forcess Doctrine
Holding the Line for Mountaineers.
Well, war has been averted but my opinion of King Michael is not good.
