Germany - Abwehr Success and Finland - 01 Jul to 18 Jul 1940

01 Jul 1940: Research has been completed on Improved Medium Airframe....

....and I select Range Improvements from Junkers next.

Dornier receives the Trait Twin-Tail.

I appoint General Albert Kesselring as Chief of Luftwaffe.

03 Jul 1940: The 18. and 20. Panzer-Divisionen attack a Soviet Rifle Division in Kuopio.

05 Jul 1940: I call the remaining 2 Divisionen from Leningrad to Viipuri. My mission is to defend Finland not to capture Leningrad and hold it.

08 Jul 1940: The 169. and 290. Sturm-Divisionen launch a counterattack from Lappeenranta. Further East a Panzer-Division has been repelled.

A bigger picture of the challenge.

The 18. and 20. Panzer-Divisionen have returned to Savonlinna.

12 Jul 1940: Rheinmetall receives the Trait Mobile Limbers which affects two items in production.

14 Jul 1940: I launch a 3-Division counterattack which shows initial success.

15 Jul 1940: It failed however.

17 Jul 1940: I remind the Dutch again.

18 Jul 1940: The Abwehr's mission to Capture Cipher was successful.

I now plan a new mission to Prepare Collaboration Government. A much more complicated mission.

Five items need to be upgraded but I'm in no hurry.

I select Flexible Organization for my Spirit of Division Command. 

 To be honest I don't know how long I can continue to defend Finland.
