Germany - The Soviet Union Invades Finland - 15 Feb to 06 Mar 1940
15 Feb 1940: I guess that the Empire is back in shape now.
19 Feb 1940: Italy has made good progress in Yugoslavia........but they are looking silly in Libya.
France is holding on in Abyssinia.
I assign 10 trained Sturm-Divisionen to 4. Armee.
I convert the 10 Infanterie-Divisionen in 4. Armee to Sturm-Divisionen....
....then place them in training.
20 Feb 1940: That's tough for Finland.
I decide to help Finland. I transfer 4 Sturm-Divisionen from 4. Armee to IV. Panzerkorps....
....then rename it to Armee Finland and appoint General Oswald Lutz as its new Commander.
I attach 3 Geschwader....
....then send it to Finland.
Finland accepts the Volunteers.
21 Feb 1940: That's the right attitude!
That is a surprise. Germany and England fighting side-by-side. I'll believe it though when I see British troops there, not just empty pledges.
22 Feb 1940: I prepare and send a juicy Lend Lease package for Finland. If Finland doesn't capitulate we have an ally later supported by the Allies.
Finland accepts the Lend Lease.
28 Feb 1940: I have a choice here so I go for Strength-Torpedoes.
04 Mar 1940: I remind the Dutch again.
They just don't quit....
The Soviets are advancing.
06 Mar 1940: My Armee Finland has arrived in Finland.
