Germany - Finland and Upgrading the Panzertruppe - 29 May to 18 Jun 1940
29 May 1940: I start upgrading my Panzer-Divisionen. Each Division requires 50 Medium Panzer and 20 Towed Anti-Air.
IV. Panzerkorps is first then it requires further training.III. Panzerkorps is next....
....and the same procedure.
Next is II. Panzerkorps.....
....and finally I. Panzerkorps which has 5 Panzerdivisionen.
Back to Finland and I order the 290 Sturm-Division forward to support the frontline.
01 Jun 1940: The Soviets continue to attack that point in our defences.
They are attacking near Leningrad too. Note the RAF aircraft.
06 Jun 1940: I go on the counteroffensive.
08 Jun 1940: It's looking good.
14 Jun 1940: Henschel receives the Trait Anti-Tank Role.
At Home 4 Panzer-Divisionen have been deployed and placed in training.
I assign 8 trained Sturm-Divisionen to 4. Armee....
....and a further 2 to Armee Mitte.
18 Jun 1940: I order the 18. and 20. Panzer-Divisionen to cover our left flank at Savonntina.
The Finns simply don't have enough diisions to cover their entire, very long, frontline and I can't bring in reinforcements.
