Germany - Post-Conflict Reorganization (I) - 13 Oct to 21 Oct 1944
13-15 Oct 1944: I order Gebirgs Armee to garrison Korea....
....and 2. Armee to garrison German Siberia.15 Oct 1944: I unassign the two Armeen and create Army Group 1....
....with FM Karl Eglseer as the Commander.
16 Oct 1944: I also send 3. Panzerarmee to Korea.
17 Oct 1944: They didn't waste much time.
No problem at all.
The Abwehr is working good. I believe that Korea is land-linked to German Siberia.
I select the Focus Ostwall. Better safe than sorry.
18 Oct 1944: I order 9. Armee to Moscow region.
19 Oct 1944: I place 3 of its divisions in training. I appear to have missed one.
I assign 7 trained divisions to 10. Armee....
....then rename it to 5. Panzerarmee. Its 9 Sturm-Divisionen require further training.
I add 9 Anti-Air Defences to the Construction queue.
21 Oct 1944: Four Infanterie-Divisionen have been deployed and are placed in training.
I enter the 12,8 cm PaK 44 into production replacing the 7,5 cm PaK 40 currently being produced.
I import Rubber from France....
....and cancel Tungsten being imported from Portugal.
I assign 23 Destroyers to German Flotta 5....
....and 23 U-Booten to I. U-Boots Flottille.
I create 4 Geschwader in Leningrad.
This is just the beginning. More than 3 years of war has left a lot to be desired.
