03 Dec 1938: These are old. No Anti-Air and everything is grade "I" equipment.
We can put some life in them with first the Blohm & Voss Traits and a Light Engine II.
Then I add an Anti-Air II and upgrade to a Light Battery II.
I add another Anti-Air II Battery and upgrade to Torpedo Tubes II.
I've run out of Navy XP`s but this is a much better Destroyer.
I select 12 Type 24 Destroyers from Hochseeflotte and refit them to the Type 24 A Destroyer.
The MIO is Blohm & Voss.
06 Dec 1938: I also plan the Construction of a
Naval Research Facility at Gotenhafen (Gdynia).
11 Dec 1938: Blohm & Voss receives the Trait
Raiding Capital Ships.
I select
Motorizaton Drive as the Spirit of the Army.
15 Dec 1938: Research has been completed on
Anti-Air Upgrade....
....and Rheinmetall receives the Trait
Rapid Fire.
I select
Paratroopers II next.
25 Dec 1938: We have White Christmas! Also the Regional Defence Council of Aragón has been annexed.
26 Dec 1938: We recognize Bulgarian claims. I don't want southern Yugoslavia anyway but it does have a lot of good Resources.
The Battlecruiser Gneisenau is now fully-trained and is assigned to Hochseeflotte.
29 Dec 1938: I create two Geschwader at Böhmen and order Pilot Exercises for them.
31 Dec 1938: The Global Summary shows Germany to be still #1 in the World.
We now have a larger Army than the United Kingdom although we are still outnumbered by France and Britain together in the Air, on the Ground and at Sea.
