Germany - The Enlarged Panzer-Division38 - 19 Apr to 08 May 1937
19 Apr 1937: Former Poland being garrisoned.
26 Apr 1937: The trained 58. and 69. Infanterie-Divisionen are assigned to Armee Nord.01 May 1937: This 4:4 Armour:Infantry is historically incorrect and it is still tank-heavy. Time for a change (one of many).
After duplicating the template....
....I remove two Light Tank Battalions....
....then add 4 x Motorized Infantry Battalions (only 2 x shown).
The Panzer-Division38, the raw material for future designs. It will develop over the years as new weapons and technologies appear.
I convert the 1. and 2. Panzer-Divisionen to the 1938 format....
....then I begin recruiting two Panzer-Division38's. This is what Germany did between 1939 and 1940 so that 10 Panzer-Divisionen were available for the Battle For France. Even in 1940 many Panzer I's and II's were present including Czech Light Panzer.
I transfer the 4. Panzer-Division to I. Panzerkorps....
....then together 3. Panzer-Division they too are converted to the 1938 format.
06 May 1937: We accept the Danish offer.
I import more Rubber from the UK.
My current Research projects.
I assign 3 trained Infanterie-Divisionen to Armee Süd which I rename Armee Südwest. I aslo create a new Theatre (top-right).
07 May 1937: That sounds like more Japanese aggression in the Far East.
08 May 1937: Tragic.
We all know why!
Hungary cannot yet join the Axis....
....but Japan will provide the extra World Tension. I'm sure.
