Germany - Home Defence, Spain then Greece Again - 28 Jul to 29 Aug 1944
28 Jul 1944: My current aircraft production. We are producing much more than the British!
06 Aug 1944: A German and a Russian Armoured Division are assigned to 1st Armee at the Lithuanian border.09 Aug 1944: I create Armeeschule Ost with 6 newly deployed Sturm-Divisionen.
11 Aug 1944: Five Russian Infantry Divisions are assigned to 1st Army.
13 Aug 1944: 1st Army is beginning to be capable of defending the border now but it is still only 13 divisions.
17 Aug 1944: I deploy 10 Reserve-Divisionen....
....and place them in Armeeschule Ost the next day.
22 Aug 1944: I order the Ostseeflotte back to port.
We still have some old light tanks that can be converted to Light SP Guns (Wespe).
23 Aug 1944: Well that's cute.
So cute that I offer them Military Access to the Reich....
....which they accept.
It doesn't change my plans for the British-controlled region of Spain.
25 Aug 1944: Greece again! It doesn't look good although I am not sure whether Greece can declare war on Turkey. Greece would have to leave the Allies first and that can't be done if the Allies are at war.
28 Aug 1944: Back to the Luftwaffe I merge Air Wings at Piedmont....
....and increase the 14th Fighter Wing to 200 aircraft.
29 Aug 1944: I then deploy two more Fighter Wings there.
I deploy 4 new Air Wings in Tuscany....
....and one new Fighter Wing in Latium.
I deploy a Heavy Fighter Wing and a He 177 Wing at Sofia....
....then merge Air Wings in Plovdiv.
Finally I assign another Russian Armoured Division to 1st Army.
Spain is getting complicated and Greece isn't much better but the Home Defence is looking good and I have plenty of equipment stockpiled.
