Germany - Home Defence Measures - 20 Sep to 25 Sep 1943
20 Sep 1943: I assign 2 more U-Booten to 1. U-Boots Flottille patrolling in the English Channel.
Four surface vessels, incl. the new Battleship Ludendorff, are assigned to the Hochseeflotte.I deploy 2 Stuka Wings and a He 111 Bomber Wing at Mecklenburg.
I create a new Building Slot in Thüringen.
I also attempt to recruit a new operative in the United Kingdom.
The United Kingdom has non-aggression pacts with Japan and its faction members.
I seek a non-aggression pact with Norway and they accept.
21 Sep 1943: Then I ask for a non-aggression pact with Sweden and they also accept.
As I thought, most of my Medium Tank surplus consists of Panzer IV's which are being converted to Hummel's.
Good to see that most of my surplus Artillery is the latest 15 cm design.
My SS-Divisions are missing Anti-Air armament so I convert a Motorized Infantry battalion to a Motorized Anti-Air battalion.
24 Sep 1943: I decide to increase Fw 190 A production.
I had to think about this one but in the end I gave them access. They can't declare war on Germany if they have troops in our territory. Also they are busy fighting Comintern.
25 Sep 1943: Research has been completed on Assembly Line Production which increases the productivity of Military Factories by another 10 percentage points.
I select the 15 cm Kanone 18 next. The replacement of its predecessor will take a year so that's why I'm increasing Artillery production to facilitate a swift conversion rate..
My Research projects at a glance. All are 'old' technologies.
I've just noticed that the Southern Iberian supply problem has disappeared.
I plan to increase the Infrastructure to the maximum of level 10.
I plan the construction of Coastal Forts at key ports to make amphibious assaults more difficult to succeed.
I need to devote more resources to my defences. Sooner or later we shall be at war again and I want want to be at least halfway prepared.
