24 Apr 1941: The Soviets have grabbed a huge piece of Western Ukraine and SE Poland vacated by defeated Wehrmacht forces.
25 Apr 1941: Research has completed on the
1940 Heavy Ship Hull....
....and I select
Bren Mk. 1 and ML 3 inch Mortar next.
My current Research. We are steadily advancing nearer to Bucharest.
I order the 14th Indian Division to take Dobrich then attack Varna from the north, i.e. in the rear.
All of 2nd Army Group's plans.
26 Apr 1941: I hope they benefitted from it. Bucharest looks as if it is about to fall.
I assign Army Canada to the frontline with the Polish Peoples Republic....
....and 4th Army to the frontline in Eastern Poland.
27 Apr 1941: I import some Tungsten from Spain.
Bucharest has been captured any enemy divisions to the south are about to be encircled.
29 Apr 1941: The encirclement has been completed and the forces in Varna are trapped too.
01 May 1941: Cluj is the new Romanian capital but progress is slow in front of Army Macedonia because of the difficult terrain which favours the defender.
03 May 1941: The Italians lose another Submarine near Mallorca.
In eastern Romania we have captured Varna as well as Constanta a port further north. Brasov at the tip of the Carpathian Mountains has been captured too.
04 May 1941: I plot an avenue of attack for Army Canada's conquest of communist Poland.
05 May 1941: The attack begins and looks promising.
06 May 1941: The frontline in Romania was so confusing that I was forced to delete it. The pockets of resistance will be mopped up individually.
07 May 1941: The Romanian People's Republic has capitulated so now only Soviet divisions need to be neutralized.
The

....and I select to research the Naval Doctrine
Convoy Sailing next.
Finally the current projects being researched.
With Romania gone the Soviets southern flank is very vulnerable. Hopefully I can exploit the situation.
