02 Mar 1941: I start my small offensive against the Soviets in SW Romania. I'm pleased that we could set up a defensive line so far east. Now it's time to counter in order to support our operations north of the Alps.
04 Mar 1941: No need for concern here. Not all of our forces have arrived at the frontline yet so I am not at all worried.
I certainly wish that we had more Fuel.
I apply the Force Attack bonus to 4th Army. I want a breakthrough to capture Germany's North Sea ports and consolidate our forces occupying the Ruhr area.
06 Mar 1941: A couple of days later Munster has been captured and more important Greater Portugal has been defeated and we get a share of the capture equipment, including a little Fuel.
To conserve Fuel I assign 6 trained ships from Humber Force to Channel Force and 4 Submarines to 2nd Submarine Flotilla.
07 Mar 1941: I really don't care but it is waste of 25 PP.
The offensive in the south of Germany is proceeding well too. We have captured Stuttgart and are advancing on Ulm, Augsburg and Munich.
10 Mar 1941: In the north we are about to capture Bremen and the German division south of Emden has already been pushed back.
That Italian Submarine Flotilla in the Western Mediterranean is slowly being worn down.
11 Mar 1941: In the north 4th Army is advancing on a broad front. The Danes have captured Hamburg port and we shall soon link up with them before starting our final push towards Berlin.
13 Mar 1941: We have captured Bremen so Emden and Kassel, east of the Ruhr District, are next.
The War Summary shows Germany at 46% towards capitulation.
17 Mar 1941: In southern Germany Ulm and Augsburg have been captured. The Germans barely have enough forces to cover the frontline.
21 Mar 1941: We are now at the gates of Munich and have Nuremburg in our sights.
26 Mar 1941: Our push into western Romania is taking shape. The Soviets appear to be too weak to take advantage of our relatively weaker southern end of our frontline.
27 Mar 1941: Research has been completed on
Depth Charge Mortar.
Also we decide to invest in Greece although it is not as much as much as they would have preferred.
I'm happy with our advance in Germany. They have not enough forces to withstand our two armies.
