15 Jun 1942: In 6 weeks I have accumulated more Victory Points than the UK in two years of fighting!!! So I open the negotiations.
I annex Alsace-Lorraine complete with the Maginot Line. It will now defend Germany against French folly.
In the 2nd round I annex Istria and Veneto. I now have access to the Mediterranean.
I pass to gain more points....
....then I annex territory in NW Africa, Somalia and bits of Italy including the Dodecanese, South Tyrol and Sardinia.
I pass again....
....then I annex the Canary Islands, Sicily and most of Libya.
In the next round I annex Tripoli and Lombardy.
Nobody else appears to be bidding so I annex French India, Rio de Oro and Piedmont.
In the next round I annex Emilia Romagna, liberate Carlist Spain then annex Savoy. The French Alps are now mine. A good defensive barrier complete with Europe's highest mountain.
I now annex Provence, hopefully with access to the Casino in Monte Carlo.
....then Tuscany and I puppet Spain.
This time I puppet Italy (just Latium) and annex Tuscany.
Next I annex Abruzzo and puppet Italy.
Nobody appears to want Spain so I annex Asturias and Valladolid. We fought hard in these regions 5 years ago.
Here I annex León, Salamanca and Madrid....
....then finally Granada.
There isn't much left so I annex Campania and Calabria.
I then quit the negotiations.
Details of the Treaty:
That was long treaty but I have what I wanted. Access to the Mediterranean. France has been stripped of its border defences. I have colonies in Africa (East and West) plus French India. I also have the industrial north of Italy plus the Provence for vacations in summer. Now to organize and defend all this new territory.
