16 May 1922: Now that the offensive is imminent it is time to allocate my Airforce to its specific missions. I move two Bomber Wings to Grozny.
18 May 1922: Two Fighter Wings are transferred to the Caucasus Mountains.
19 May 1922: Two Wings receive extra flying sessions.
22 May 1922: There are now 5 Fighter Wings in Caucasus Mountains and two each are assigned to 2nd and 6th Armies. The 10 Fighter Wing is assigned CAP over the Kuban region.
Four Bomber Wings at Grozny are assigned to Air Support roles over Kuban.
The 9th Fighter Wing and 3rd Bomber Wing are transferred to Ust Urt.
24 May 1922: 9th Fighter Wing is assigned to 4th Army. The other two Wings have bombing missions over the Western Steppe.
The 3rd and 22nd Fighter Wings in Georgia are assigned CAP over the Kuban region.
30 May 1922: The
Yavuz-Class Battlecruiser has finished development.
To maintain a modern Navy I select
Carrier II next.
31 May 1922: The War Justification against Russia has finished....
....and I declare war!
The Russian Empire has a large army and it will not be easy to win alone.
My initial plans. The first goal is to destroy those 29 Russian divisions - about 40% of their Army.
01 Jun 1922: All battles are 'green' while Russia calls the New Mongol Empire as their ally.
I'm calling nobody, just ensuring that the USA hasn't joined the Russian Empire.
02 Jun 1922: The Russians have at least 1 division in Crimea after all.
05 Jun 1922: The 2nd half of the Reconnaissance Corps has landed unopposed and is helping its colleagues north of Sevastopol. Three divisions from 2nd Army are about to cross the Kerch Straits to support our amphibious assaults.
06 Jun 1922: The battle for the Crimea is in full swing now with better orders issued. We need Kerch for a secure supply route.
07 Jun 1922: The technology for
Early Artillery Upgrade II is very useful. It increases artillery support by 15%. Further gains can be seen in the Kuban.
I select
Field Hospital III next. That could be very useful in a prolonged conflict.
Sterilization Effort will be good for our medical support too.
09 Jun 1922: Our armoured spearhead is about to reach the German border east of Stalingrad and all Russian divisions west of there will be cut off.
A successful opening to the campaign. Let's hope the rest develops so smoothly.
