Germany - Further Attacks in Italy and Yugoslavia - 15 Sep to 24 Sep 1941

15 Sep 1941: I begin by reminding the Dutch again. (The first time its been over 200.)

I also select Campaign Instructions against Italy.

16 Sep 1941: I attack Italian and Soviet divisions in Northern Croatia.

17 Sep 1941: The pocket of Italian division N. of Trieste has been eliminated so the divisions which I had fighting there can now be assigned to fight enemy forces E. of Trieste.

19 Sep 1941: Six divisions from Armee Finland are approching Ljubljana from the North.

Maribor has been captured and our next goal is Zagreb.

Resistance Levels in Russia are now lowering everywhere.

20 Sep 1941: I have trained Warships in Marineschule Kiel. The Torpedo Cruiser München is assigned to Hochseeflotte....

....while the Type VII U-Boot U-71 is assigned to II: U-Boots Flottille patrolling in the Eastern North Sea.

I select Surface Raiders as Spirit of Naval Command.

I select two Special Projects. One is Anechoic Tiles at the Naval Engineering Facility in Gotenhafen.

The other is Helicopter at the captured Avionics Facility in Armenia.

I create 2 Geschwader in Veneto and order Pilot Exercises.

I order 10 Divisionen from Armee Romanien to attack 4 Soviet Rifle westwards E. of Fiume.

I select the Special Forces Doctrine Elevate the Paratroopers for Paratroopers.

21 Sep 1941: I order 3 Sturm-Divisionen from Armee Süd to attack eastwards to link up with them.

Six more Sturm-Divisionen support the attack.

I order the 45. Sturm-Division to Brescia and support an offensive to Genova.

I order 4 Divisionen to attack from Padova to Ferrara.

22 Sep 1941: I order 3 Sturm-Divisionen from Armee Reserve to support an attack against 6 Italian divisions in Ferrara which is S. of Venezia. South of Brescia have a bridgehead on the other side of the Po River.

Two Sturm-Divisionen continue that attack.

The remaining Divisionen attack Parma E. of Bologna.

24 Sep 1941: I order more Rubber from British Malaya....

....and cancel Tungsten imports from Turkey.

We have breached the Italian defences S. of Parma and are advancing on La Spezia.

Six Mechaized Divisionen from Guderian's 1. Panzerarmee have arrived in Munchen and I order them further south to Brescia. I want to exploit this breakthrough as soon as possible.

The War Summary show Italy at 27% towards capitulation with almost 2M casualties.

 I take a break here.
