Poland - The Opening Moves - 04 Feb to 12 Feb 1941

04 Feb 1941: The plans for 1. Shock Army, Reserve Army and Army Kawalerii.
Now the plans for Home Army.
All Polish forces together. The emphasis is on capturing Moscow early and advancing through Ukraine including Crimea.
05 Feb 1941: I accept Lend Lease from the USA and Austria-Hungary....
....but refuse a non-aggression pact with Japan.
Where there is Air Superiority. Not sure why it's missing in Belarus.
I add 'Force Attack' Bonus to 1. Shock Army and Army Kawalerii.
I guess this a bit too early but it does show who is involved. I've excluded capitulated nations.
06 Feb 1941: A German Panzer-Division has entered Soviet territory in the Centre but our forces are about to follow.
The Northern Front is all 'green' too.
The 4. Armoured Division is deployed and I assign it untrained to the RAC.
07 Feb 1941: We accept and I assign them to Army School.
The northern sector of the frontline.
12 Feb 1941: One week into the campaign and I order an A-H division to support the attack in the North..
Let's capture the first major Soviet city Minsk. The capital of Belarus. It is also a major rail hub.
The situation in the South. A-H troops appear to be more interested in Romania than Russia.
In northern Ukraine we have captured Zhytomyr and are at the gates of Kiew.
I add Force Attack to Army Kawalerii again. We have to break through into Ukraine.
A swift abd vigorous advance is essential to take advantage of the very porous defence.
