Turkey - Finally a Breakthrough - 28 Dec 1919 to 29 Jan 1920
28 Dec 1919: We are making excellent progress on our left flank - I have a good feeling this time. We also receive the technology Improved Vehicle Suspension System I. A long name but it makes all our trucks 5% faster.
I choose Destroyer V next. This campaign against Japan has shown how important it is to maintain a modern Navy.01 Jan 1920: Happy New Year! Not so good though for the crews of 6 Japanese submarines.
15 Jan 1920: The Japanese losses are mounting rapidly!
We create an extra building slot in Muntenia. In Korea we order a few divisions to attack Keijyo to keep the enemy off-balance.
18 Jan 1920: The Japanese are attempting another amphibious assault to capture Fuzhou - with only 4 divisions???
I'm halving the size of my frontline so that my divisions don't wander away to the west coast.
20 Jan 1920: I order 3 more divisions to attack Keijyo.
22 Jan 1920: I add three Heavy Tank Brigades to the assault and the breakthrough appears to be imminent.
24 Jan 1920: Breakthrough! We follow up to extend the breach in their defences.
25 Jan 1920: The next advance is a question of time.
27 Jan 1920: Done! The attack heading SW from Keijyo looks promising too. There are also two gaping holes in their line. The Naval Doctrine Naval Convoy Escort has been completed....
....and I choose to research Submarine IV next.
29 Jan 1920: The technology Maintenance Schools has also finished research. The offensive is looking fine. We should break through again soon and hopefully encircle the enemy divisions on the east and west coasts. The plans for all the divisions of Army China..
I decide to upgrade my Military Police Companies to the 1914 standard.
I add a Military Police Company....
....and a Cavalry Recon Detachment to all my Cavalry Divisions....
....then do the same with my Armoured Car Divisions. Hopefully this will bolster my Occupation Forces in former Romania.
Finally we have movement in Korea. It's time for some more Blitzkrieg! Until soon.
