04 Jul 1919: With the attaché we can see now more details. The Japanese aren't well prepared and have already lost ground in northern Korea.

My Army China is currently in the Red Sea. It takes about 7 weeks to sail to China.

I order OE Fleet 5 to patrol the Red Sea since the other Fleets are now in the South China Sea.

The Austro-Hungarians are sending their 1st Kreuzerdivision - 59 ships including 11 capital ships. They are very welcome when we plan an amphibious operation.

The Japanese are conducting a Naval Invasion of their own. Why do they still have troops in Arabia???

The Japanese are suffering much more casualties than the Chinese.

I redirect my Army China to Fujian.

It'll take 46 days for the first division to arrive.

I should have changed to Extensive Conscription earlier.

08 Jul 1919: That sounds ominous but I'm not really concerned. The Soviets have enough problems of their own (White Russia).

12 Jul 1919: Isn't that a shame. The Japanese haven't captured a port so that they can bring in supplies and reinforcements.

14 Jul 1919: The situation isn't healthy in northern Korea either. The Chinese have also captured Dalian. Better known as Port Arthur.

16 Jul 1919: I finally have Manpower. I use half of it by recruiting two more Mountain Divisions.

17 Jul 1919: Civil War in Italy. I checked it and Sicily has gone Communist!

The 10 divisions Japan sent to China could have been more useful here.

At home I plan the construction of 5 more Dockyards. The Aircraft Carrier will be arriving soon.

I assign 2 Fighter Wings to Army China. They will automatically follow the Army.

20 Jul 1919: They are on their way....

23 Jul 1919: ....to Iran.

30 Jul 1919: My Carrier I has finished research.

We have also sunken 5 Japanese Submarines. First kill!

I select the Naval Convoy Escort Doctrine next.

31 Jul 1919: The Army Doctrine Delay has been researched.

There is a Japanese division at sea north of Formosa.

I select the Doctrine Elastic Defence next.

Two more research projects are arriving soon and both will strengthen my Infantry.

Finally I add anti-aircraft battalion to my Mountain Infantry Division template.

It isn't looking good for Japan primarily because the AI is a lousy strategist. After the Great War I would have brought all Japanese forces home.
