26 Jun 1937: Trouble in Spain with Aragon declaring war on the Republic of Spain...

...and Nationalist Spain. Let's look at the three factions.

Spain is 45/45 Communist/Democratic. Receiving Lend lease from USSR. Will accept Lend lease and volunteers from Germany.

The Regional Defence Council of Aragon is Non-Aligned and would accept Lend lease but no volunteers. Anarchists!

Nationalist Spain is also No-Aligned but predominantly Fascist and will accept Lend lease as well as volunteers.

Germany will support the Nationalists to help create a Fascist nation on France's southern border. I'm sending all captured and interwar aircraft in my reserve pool to them.

27 June 1937: Of course they accept.

The newspapers have finally caught up.

28 Jun 1937: I've created a Panzerkorps with 1st, 2nd and 3rd Panzer-Divisions plus 50 Bf109 and 50 Ju-87 Stukas as air support. Erwin Rommel is appointed the commander.

They have been accepted and will spend two weeks in transit.

29 Jun 1937: Now we can see the frontline in greater detail. The small Republican enclave in the north is taking sorely needed troops from the main front.

02 Jul 1937: Sad news.

05 Jul 1937: The Lend lease is on its way and there are still no fresh divisions being trained.

Also sad!

12 Jul 1937: Rommel's Panzerkorps has arrived in Galizia.
