France - Turkey attacks France (I) - 06 Nov to 24 Nov 1941
06 Nov 1941: The SSSR is somehow holding out.
That's not very friendly. I have very few divisions in the Levant and even fewer reserves.A least I have 4 Armoured divisions here....
....and I can call 6 Motorized Infantry Divisions from Djibouti.
I create a frontline along our border with Turkey.
10 Nov 1941: Too late, buddy.
Where is the Lithuanian-Polish War? Neither nation exists.
Time for a counter-offensive.
13 Nov 1941: And a second thrust further west.
14 Nov 1941: Research has been completed on 1936 Carrier Hull....
....and I select 1940 Carrier Hull next.
My current Research projects.
15 Nov 1941: We have pushed the Turkish Cavalry Division back and our 10th Infantry Division pursues.
I order the 3rd North African Division to Qamishli to support the 4th Colonial Division.
The newly deployed 54th Infantry Division is placed in training.
17 Nov 1941: Four divisions launch an attack on Cizir.
18 Nov 1941: We accept of course.
19 Nov 1941: We have captured Cizir and are now attacking 2 Turkish divisions north of Deir-az-Zur.
22 Nov 1941: I select Charles Maurras as a Political Advisor. Just what we need.
24 Nov 1941: No problem.
We appear to have stabilized the frontline and have regained some territory. More in the next post.
