Germany - More Advances in the East - 17 Jan to 14 Feb 1937
17 Jan 1937: I aim is to capture and its access to the Rail Network.
19 Jan 1937: The Nazis are using 'Scorched Earth' tactics.20 Jan 1937: 2nd Army operations in Eastern Germany.
21 Jan 1937: I want to destroy the 2 divisions east of Poznan.
22 Jan 1937: Meanwhile in western Germany it is looking bleak for Ulm....
....and the northern flank of Army West isn't too rosy either.
24 Jan 1937: Appointing General Schörner to the OKW could be a game changer.
26 Jan 1937: A new offensive to break the deadlock in NE Germany.
28 Jan 1937: I also launch an offensive with 2nd Army. The goals are Küstrin and Dresden.
29 Jan 1937: There will hopefully be a breakthrough here soon.
30 Jan 1937: The battles around Poznan will soon be won. Also we have finished research on Fuel Refining II....
....and I select Concentrated Industry II next.
My current Research projects.
31 Jan 1937: Good progress on my left flank. I don't believe we have enough momentum to get through to Dresden but we are preventing Nazi divisions being sent north.
06 Feb 1937: I can report excellent progress by 2nd Army. We are at the gates of Dresden and are advancing on Küstrin.
I deploy 2 Infanterie-Divisionen in Moselland. They are weak divisions but could make a difference.
11 Feb 1937: Our offensive in the NE of Germany is theatening to cut of enemy forces in and west of Danzig.
The Reich is 18% towards capitulation and we have more divisions as well as a more powerful economy.
14 Feb 1937: There is major naval battle in the Danish Belts which we are unfortunately losing.
We obviously have the advantage but the 'Scorched Earth' tactics is ruining our nation's economy.
