28 Oct 1936: I declare war on Poland.
30 Oct 1936: I activate all four Armies. A sneak attack has captured Danzig but can I hold it?
05 Nov 1936: The Poles have captured parts of East Prussia but my forces in Danzig are supplied through the port and we have a land-bridge to Germany proper. Poznan and many Polish divisions are about to be encircled. Nobody has come to Poland's help.
06 Nov 1936: A big difference in casualties.
06 Nov 1936: The Poznan Pocket contains 10 doomed divisions. In the south Guderian's Panzerkorps is poised to break through the Polish defences.
09 Nov 1936: All is progressing according to plan. Guderian's forces have broken through the Polish defences in the south.
12 Nov 1936: We are at the gates of Warsaw and a division from East Prussia has captured Grodno. We don't have a rail link to Warsaw though because Katowice and Krakow are still in Polish hands.
13 Nov 1936: Polish forces in the west are in dire straits. In the NE Army Ost launches an offensive to capture Bialystok.
16 Nov 1936: Katowice and Krakow have been captured as well as the rail line to Warsaw. There are now only 3 Polish divisions remaining in the west.
17 Nov 1936: The pressure on Warsaw is mounting and I can move forces from the west to support operations in the Polish centre.
Poland is now 52% towards capitulation and have 128K casualties compared to our 11K.
21 Nov 1936: A new pocket has been formed south of Danzig preventing those forces from helping to defend Warsaw.
23 Nov 1936: Army Ost is becoming a little overextended but the Poles have no reserves available to exploit our position.
29 Nov 1936: One month into the campaign and Poland is 75% towards capitulation.
30 Nov 1936: It's getting critical for Warsaw and I send the 36. Infanterie-Division to capture the rail junction to SE Poland.
03 Dec 1936: We have captured Bialystok but the Poles have retaken Grodno. I launch a new attack.
07 Dec 1936: Now 78% and Warsaw is about to fall.
09 Dec 1936: Warsaw has fallen and Poland's other major cities are already in our hands.
There's the conformation that Poland is about to capitulate after suffering 200K casualties.
I see that we captured the rail junction cutting off supplies to SE Poland.
A night attack towards Breszcz Litewski.
It's over and we have captured some equipment including 10 civilian trains.
In the first round I annex all Polish states.
The new Germany.
The Wehrmacht performed well suffering only 21K casualties and we are no longer at war.
